Welcome to the
St. Nicholas Market
Welcome!
What a joy it is to host the St. Nicholas Market.
Christ Episcopal Church is a church that desires to be in the community to show people the love of Jesus and the way of Love. We are a congregation that seeks to be involved in our city and region, and what better way to showcase that than to bring the people into our church and show them the beauty and the life that Christ Church possesses.
The Market is a way for us to welcome vendors, artists, and parishioners, as well as local community partners, into our space to showcase their talents and treasures.

Christ Episcopal Church
God planted this church here in this town over 140 years ago. Here is where we set our roots and flourished. While other nearby churches moved away from downtown and into suburban neighborhoods, we chose to remain in our historic location in a sacred space amid an ever-evolving landscape of downtown Temple, Texas.
The Good Shepherd window that was installed in our chancel in 1905 reminds us constantly that we must minister to each other and to those beyond our walls.
The St. Nicholas Market benefits local outreach ministries of
Christ Episcopal Church.
100% of the money raised through vendor fees and food sales is dedicated to supporting the local outreach ministries of Christ Episcopal Church. By joining us, you are helping to feed the hungry, support local families in need, and sustain vital community programs right here in Temple and Bell County.

Churches Touching Lives For Christ
We are kicking off CTLC’s Holiday Drive at the St. Nicholas Market this year. Bring a non-perishable food item to donate or make an online donation. $40 will sponsor a holiday meal for a Bell County family.

Feed My Sheep
Christ Church participates in a community wide effort to feed the hungry in our community. We prepare 100+ sandwiches for Temple’s Feed My Sheep ministry and deliver the meals to Feed My Sheep. We also provide the hot meal for the clients on the first Monday of the month.

Backpack Buddies
Backpack Buddies provides an opportunity for you to provide a backpack full of school supplies to a student in need in the Temple Independent School District. We also have bookmarks available that you may use to pray for the students during the school year.

Kyle Hotel Outreach
On the third Thursday of the month, we host Bingo at the Kyle Hotel. We provide snacks and prizes and call Bingo games. During December, we host a Christmas party. We also provide a lunch at Christmas and Easter for Kyle residents.

Angel Tree Project
We partner with The Salvation Army Angel Tree program to provide new clothing and toys to help provide Christmas for Bell County children in need each year.

Community Garden
The Main Street Community Garden, located in the lot across the street from the church, serves as a place for community evangelism efforts, and a space to learn how to grow, harvest and consume healthy whole foods. It’s a space to experience a direct and deep connection with God, food, the land, and each other.
